Day 11

No power again last night… but it doesn't even matter because I come home to you today!!! Yay I missed you so much I can't wait to see you! We are going surfing this morning before we leave so hopefully I wont burn and loose all my tan. The plane takes off at 4:50 our time so we are going to have to get to the airport around lunchtime in order to get through customs. Hopefully they don't find all the illegal things I’m smuggling back in my surf bag haha. Just kidding! I really hope you like your presents I brought you I think they are pretty so that probably means you will hate it. Ok, time to surf. I love you and will see you soon!!

Day 9

We are back! After rushing around looking for everything in the hotel before we left it didn’t even matter. My dad woke us up so early to go surfing and it was tiny! Anyways after not going surfing and we went to the ferry terminal where we caught what we thought was the right ferry we were wrong. It was a faster ferry and nicer seats but I knew it wasn’t the right one as soon as we passed where we were supposed to dock and went into downtown instead. On the good side though it got us through customs faster and I got you some pretty things from all the shops. I hope you like them! Yay, one more day! Ok surfing time the waves are much bigger here! I love you and will talk to you later baby :)

Day 7

We made it to Tortola! The ferry ride was ok but it made me a little sea sick, as the waves were big and the wind was blowing hard. Luckily I was able to smuggle my turkey subway sandwich into the country so its been a good days so far. Well it's a struggle to find Internet here all the good wireless connections have funny names. “Tom’s butt pirates” and the “Big Banana” were some of my favorites. I have no clue why everything is a gay innuendo but they seem to be popular in this big pink hotel. I hope I will be able to find a good connection tonight so I can see your beautiful face, even if I cant though I will still dream of it tonight! The sunset here is beautiful the hotel has a nice terrace that faces west and you can see the entire USVI lit up against the sky. Nothing would be finer than to be sitting here sipping a cool drink and enjoying it with you. Well I have to go shower now before we go out to dinner on the beach. I’ll keep an eye out for gluten free goodies so you can come back! Well I’ll talk to you tonight my darling!

Day 6

Yay only 5 days till I can hold you in my arms again! Wow this has been such a long trip and it only halfway over. Everything I see reminds me of you, this place is beautiful you would love it. Today is more of the same just surfing and hanging out. The waves just keep getting more fun so that's a good turn around from earlier in the trip. My parents land at 4 today so we are having ribs and corn and salad for dinner. We cooked garlic lime chicken for lunch today; wish you were here to enjoy it! I saw a cool iguana right outside our room though so hopefully I can catch him! The view from the house is gorgeous and the sun is finally coming out enough for us to get tan! Well time for dinner baby! I love you and I’ll see your pretty face on skype tonight!

Day 5

Well last night was fun! It was a big party but it would have been better with you. The ferry and the customs line were a big buzz kill! Next time you should come and we can rent a big boat and party on that! Man everything is so expensive there! Really I can’t wait to hold you in my arms and never let go! Next new years will be great because I’ll be with you :)! Ah ok short update today baby the waves are good! I love you and will skype you tonight, lets hope the power works!

day 4

Well the power has been intermittent lately so this is the first time I can get on. It has been fun the past few days but I really miss you! We are going to foxys bar tonight in Jost Van Dyke. I hope it will be fun but it will be full of craziness I'm sure. Today was a fun day we went to the Udder Delight alcoholic milk shakes. I know it sounds crazy but we should really open one in Charlotte! After getting milk shakes we walked down to maghen's bay and played in the shorebreak. The beach there is so pretty I can't wait to take you there! Well we have to go make dinner its chicken alfredo tonight. Yum! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU! It will be sooner than you know!

day 2 of the trip

well its been rainy and not very tropical! I cant wait for the sun to come out and let me get tan.. I think the island is sad you aren't here so its crying for you. We are paddling out in front of the house today in hull bay. The waves are big and scary so lets hope no one gets hurt. I cant wait to see you baby :) only 9 more days!
