day 4

Well the power has been intermittent lately so this is the first time I can get on. It has been fun the past few days but I really miss you! We are going to foxys bar tonight in Jost Van Dyke. I hope it will be fun but it will be full of craziness I'm sure. Today was a fun day we went to the Udder Delight alcoholic milk shakes. I know it sounds crazy but we should really open one in Charlotte! After getting milk shakes we walked down to maghen's bay and played in the shorebreak. The beach there is so pretty I can't wait to take you there! Well we have to go make dinner its chicken alfredo tonight. Yum! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU! It will be sooner than you know!

day 2 of the trip

well its been rainy and not very tropical! I cant wait for the sun to come out and let me get tan.. I think the island is sad you aren't here so its crying for you. We are paddling out in front of the house today in hull bay. The waves are big and scary so lets hope no one gets hurt. I cant wait to see you baby :) only 9 more days!

D-Day

Well short entry today in between flights its been a long and gruesome journey so far. Flight was moved to three gates before we finally boarded and of course I got stuck in front of the two most hyper children. They kicked and screamed the entire flight. I cant wait to get there so I can take some better pictures of the area! I love and miss you baby :)

1 Day...


Well it has been 2 days since I left you and I can't stop thinking about you! Everything I see reminds me of you. Today it snowed, that is an oddity here. Not enough to play in like back at school but every flake that fell represented a time that I will or have had with you. Each flake, different at first but then culminates to make one blanket of snow. Our love can be viewed this way too, flurries of excitement each as a different flake all coming together in unison to form our love. It took me back to the first time we met that humid late summer night, we all were so innocent and lost without each other. Even though going into college I never thought I would be in a relationship ever again, God had another plan and he spoke through the beautiful, sweet, fun, loving girl that I have come to fall in love with. It took me back to another time where it snowed on a cold winter night in January the quiet weekend that our college encounters so many times a year was no more. The campus was alive with young adults being kids, I will never forget that time as we played in the snow on that hill for hours. You see its not just one experience that makes me fall in love with you its time and time again when given the worse of things we always make the best of it. I love you forever and always baby and even though I am 114 miles away from you I can still feel your love right here with me.

2 days before take off

Well the whole idea behind this blog is to document the feelings of love I have for my beautiful girlfriend, Kristen. We have dated for 1 year, 3 months, and 1 day. I love her so much and I want her to be able to come onto the blog and see things that remind me of her everyday. I will be going on a trip to the USVI in two days and will be updating daily. And when you read this... I love you baby :)!!!
